This course is a class for students who are willing to step into a leadership role on campus. Leadership students are responsible for setting up and decorating school dances, creating posters promoting campus events, and working on the yearbook. Leadership students are also part of Hanshaw’s PHAST club. PHAST stands for Protecting Health and Slamming Tobacco and works to educate students about the dangers of smoking and vaping. Students will also learn about leadership skills and ways to build a positive and encouraging culture on campus.”
This course is a foundational step for anyone thinking of a career in marketing, event planning, journalism, or communications.
