Cay, The (NR) The Cay is the story of Phillip, a young boy, who with his mother, are trying to escape the war and head back to their home in Virginia during World War II. Their ship is torpedoed, and Phillip is separated from his mother. He awakens to find he is blind and adrift on a life raft with a black man and a cat named Stew cat, where they eventually land on a deserted island. A story not only of survival, but of friendship and overcoming prejudices.
